I’m Hailey Taritas — the founder, photographer, and editor of Amped Focus, a music publication I created in 2024 to celebrate the artists and live shows that move me the most.
I started my photography journey back in 2018, capturing live bands at church festivals and taking portraits for friends and local artists. Over time, my love for music and visuals came together, and I knew this was what I wanted to build a career around. I studied Photography for two years at Madison College, where I honed my skills in lighting, editing, and shooting fast-paced live events.
There’s nothing like the energy of a live show — the kind of moments that hit you in the chest and stay with you. That’s exactly what I aim to capture through my lens: raw, unfiltered emotion that lets you feel the music long after the lights go down.
